About this course

Stem cells, platelet rich plasma, autologous condition serum – what’s the evidence, which conditions can they be used for and are they really worth the expense?

This webinar will review the current array of regenerative therapies available and present them in an unbiased and user friendly format. We will explore the evidence behind each therapy and which conditions they are most appropriate for. Case examples will help illustrate how they are used in our clinic with practical tips and guidance.

Why do this course?
This webinar is particularly useful for those veterinarians regularly seeing lame horses and want to offer their clients the full array of treatment options. Delegates will learn the pros and cons of each treatment as well as the approximate cost. We will also cover the most appropriate method of administration, timing and follow up care.

This webinar was part of the Nerve blocks and joint medications  series that ran in June and July 2020. The other webinars in this series are:

Nerve blocks principles and applications
Diagnostic analgesia of the foot and its interpretation
Diagnostic analgesia of the hindlimb (excluding the foot) and its interpretation
Diagnostic analgesia of the forelimb (excluding the foot) and its interpretation
Joint medications – a practical approach
